Hail,
Right now the GDC is taking place in America, they are showcasing a lot of interesting games, and I voice act for one of the games being presented there. Unfortunately, I do not know if it has been announced at this time and therefore since I am under a contract, I cannot devolve further into the game I voice act in. All I can say, is that if you are a fan of video games for consoles, you are in for a treat.

I got phoned up by a company in my own country, which wanted me to do some voice work for their radio promos, it was interesting and fun. I’ve done many of those before but this time, there was a more serious exclamation behind the intended promotion. Speaking of promos; you can hear my voice constantly on a internet radio called Animenfo Radio, The host and creator of the radio, still have some more ideas for me to make into audioality, so I’m hyped about the radios progress. And I do all the promos, ads and so on for it, in case you were wondering.

I also do guest appearances on a podcast called Stop, Drop and Cast. And, I’ve started editing that show since the main host Alex - asked me to.

In other News:

Lima, The creator of the upcoming machinima: “Legends” had some interesting stuff to share. It seems it is soon done in the recording phase, but still, they are looking for some voice actors to help them out. If you are a female or a guy - good at doing dwarf voices(dwarf is a male part not female), and being interested into doing voices for a very promising movie, then mail Lima with you audition demos. He also provided some fun snapshots from his upcoming movie:

Peter Thomsen, The maker of the “Crimson Crusade”, gave me some pictures to post about his upcoming movie.
Apparently, the intro is quite large and will be epic out of what he told me. So look forward for it, I sure am:

Johan, maker of a machinima called “Acolyte”, send me some tidbits from his domain. I voice act a warrior\priest in it, it was all in all, an interesting part to play, but here is the tidbits from the man himself:

It’s going to be about 7 minutes long. It’s got stars such as Nick Shaw, Matt Greenberg and Jesse Cox from Totp3 and Clint Hackleman from Myndflame - doing a bunch of the main characters in Illegal danish. Also a very good professional voice actor, who I actually paid ;P, named Andrew Shapiro. The movie will have original soundtrack by Nathan Allen Pinard and is a good candidate for my 3rd recomendation star on WCM - plus it will be featured on Myndflame aswell

Oskar Renlund, Sent me some information of the machinima he was working on. Apparently, he now choose to step down from it, since it was far to big for him, he will continue to finish it but right now, he will focus on making something smaller. I am to voice act in the new movie as a blood elf, which is going to be refreshing. The title of his new movie is: “The Dual.”

Alright so Finally I got a Blog up and going, now the most obvious question for any newcomer is mundanely: “Who the(insert swear word here)are you?!” I am GxG AkA Caruu. I work as a professional voice actor for several medias like TV and Radio. I do voice acting for free media as well, like obviously Machinima movies.

Since I have now introduced myself, I think I’ll use this paragraph to tell what I am using the blog for.
I will post any news here of the movies I voice act in, share some thoughts of the machinimas that’s been posted which I voice act in, and of course spread the rumor wagon when anything new happens for voice acting in general.

GarthD - Who Am I

Garthd V - Who Am I (Arena PvP)

This is a warrior PVP arena movie, that pulled some interesting intro effect with a splat of story. In the story - I voice act all three characters: GarthD, Fellow and Vultrox. I had some fun adding effects behind the voices to give a bigger wide range of vocal recognition. The voice for GarthD did not go as well as I had hoped, it sounded very robotic. Not exactly what I wanted to achieve but there you have it. He also told me there might be a full story version coming out, which means I will do their voices again, and this time, I will definitely make it sound more undeadly than last time.

In other news:

The producer of “Legends” - Lima, who I am also voice acting for, gave me a small tidbit about his upcoming cinematic. Apparently a guy from “Tales of the past” will be co-voicing the machinima.

Lima: “I can say that today I also got some lines from Nick Shaw (Blazer from tales of the past) and he will be doing one of the main roles in the movie. “

Will be interesting to see the result of that.

Jim Gunn is making a comedy, where I voice act the main character, an orc with the brain of a nut. Many of the lines are extremely well written and had me laughing my head off doing them. He is working hard on it after some computer issues that slowed down the progress of this wonderful story.

Oskar, a wonderful story writer, has gotten me into voicing several characters in his upcoming series. They are interesting and very cool. So far my voices are on trolls and maybe a dwarf and a captain. I personally didn’t like the voice I made for the dwarf and captain, so hopefully he’ll find a replacement for them both.

Khandy, the only woman so far I’ve seen doing machinimas, got me into her world. She got a very intriguing world to elaborate on with her story ideas. I do not have any clips of my own voice from this machinima but I do have a teaser she posted on her own blog.

The Crimson Crusade is a oncoming story machinima, where I voice act the lich king Kel’thuzad and Mograine. You should check out the teaser he made where my voice is unfortunately, very loud. Apparently, it is from his end of rendering the movie and not the sound files I sent him. Anyway, take a look.
